NATIONAL VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION WEEK

In celebration of National Volunteer Appreciation Week, we are highlighting our amazing volunteers and the time, talent, gifts, and love they provide for Gleaning For The World year after year!

Our Teddy Bear Brigade volunteers have one of the most fun tasks to complete in our volunteer center: inspecting cute and cuddly stuffed animals!

The Teddy Bear Brigade collects, on average, 35,000 stuffed animals each year… and our volunteers inspect each and every one before they are packaged and shipped to children in need!

If a stuffed animal needs to be washed, our volunteers wash them; and if one needs repairing, it’s our volunteers who do that, too.

Lions, and tigers, and bears… and sparkly unicorns, and tie-dyed dolphins, and green monkeys… OH MY!

We appreciate our Teddy Bear Brigade Volunteers and their dedication to making sure each stuffed animal that leaves our warehouse is in top shape and ready to share love with a child in need.
