For us, each January is filled with goal setting activities – staff discussions around our strengths and weaknesses, evaluating our team’s past performance, identifying areas for improvement – all for the purpose of setting and successfully reaching our goals in the new year.
It’s January – for many, that means a time for renewal, rejuvenation … and resolutions. A fresh start! Do you make resolutions each year? Proverbs 29:18 says, “where there is no vision, the people perish…” We have a vision of growth in 2020, and we need your help!

It was my privilege to work closely with Gleaning for the World in the aftermath of the tornado which struck our area on both sides of the James River on April 15, 2018. Our church parking lot and fellowship hall became the staging ground for distribution to the neighborhoods affected.
This year, we were blessed to send 2 tractor trailer loads to our partners. Combined, we provided bouncy balls, dolls, action figures, toys, games, and over 14,000 stuffed animals!
