Gleaning For The World works year-round to help the residents of Haiti and now their help is needed more than ever. While Hatian residents are digging through rubble looking for their loved ones, the local nonprofit is working to gather disaster relief supplies to their partners in Haiti as quickly as possible.

To make a financial donation, supporters can click here or send a check to GFTW PO Box 645 Concord, VA 24538, with “Haiti Relief” in the check memo.

For those who wish to donate tangible items or financial gifts in person, Gleaning For The World will park their truck in front of Sam’s Club on Wards Road in Lynchburg, on Thursday, August 19, from 10am until 6pm, collecting a very specific list of supplies. The items on this list are needed urgently, according to the organizations’ partners in Haiti.
