WE’RE RESPONDING IN THE HEARTLAND

We’ve spent over two decades responding to natural and man-made disasters, and, each time we are truly reminded of our humanity. This quote from a press conference today from Kentucky Governor Beshear stood out to me:

“Remember, each of these lives are children of God, irreplaceable to their families and their communities,” he said. “We will make it through this. We will rebuild. We are strong, resilient people.” – Gov. Andy Beshear

Our hearts go out to these families and communities. We are responding, and, soon we will be sending aid to individuals and families in need. We will be out at Sam’s Club on Wards Road in Lynchburg, Virginia beginning at Noon, Monday, December 13. As always, your generous donation is fully tax deductible under state and federal law.
