In a remarkable turn of events, Gleaning For The World recently welcomed the largest Bible donation in its 25-year history. This incredible gift came from a local book wholesaler who had amassed a substantial collection of new and used Bibles. Unable to find a suitable retailer, they sought out Gleaning to be the recipient of a staggering 40,000 pounds of Bibles at our warehouse in Concord, VA.

As we unloaded pallet after pallet of these precious scriptures, it became clear that this was no ordinary donation. It was a divine intervention orchestrated by God Himself. These Bibles did not find their way to us by accident; they were meant to be here. This donation is part of a grander plan to touch lives around the world.

There are some things we know for certain about this extraordinary donation. Firstly, God has a purpose for each of these Bibles, guiding their distribution locally, nationally, and internationally. Secondly, He has entrusted us all with a shared mission to play our part in this distribution plan. What we don’t know yet is the full extent of where these 40,000 pounds of Bibles will reach. This is a new chapter for Gleaning, and the story is just beginning.

We are already in communication with trusted partners who can help distribute a significant portion of these Bibles. However, we are also reaching out to more individuals and organizations willing to join us in sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ through the gift of a Bible.
