We are thrilled to announce that the CMVA’s efforts resulted in the collection of more than 1,100 stuffed animals during the month of September!
This year, the Share-A-Bear-A-Thon will take place on Friday, September 22 from 5pm to 8pm in the parking lot of Mister Goodies on Timberlake Road.
Since our founding in 1998, the total number of stuffies we have distributed is over 625,000! We have shipped to 21 states and 35 countries.
During the recent pandemic, we also began assisting animal rescue shelters. We learned that by helping provide pet food and supplies we were not only helping rescue organizations take care of animals in their care, we were also helping struggling families wanting to keep their cherished pets at home.
The fire destroyed or damaged more than 2,200 buildings, 86% of them residential, officials said. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) estimates it will cost $5.5 billion to rebuild the town.
We receive, send, ship, deliver our supplies in boxes. Made of simple cardboard, but they transport hope and healing, encouragement and relief, love and life.

Gleaning For The World is accepting financial donations to support our partners in this region who are already providing aid to the victims. Survivors do not have enough food, water and basic supplies and not having basic supplies can increase the risk of diseases and deaths.
